Plot
Nino Santoro is alone and poor. He left the family seven years earlier for an adventurer who deluded him and then abandoned him. He also had to undergo an arrest and a "stay" in prison. Released from prison he is helped by an actor who finds it difficult to find a part and then by an owner who offers to hire Nino and the actor as servants. Nino attending the house discovers that his benefactor is married to his ex-wife and that little Antonella who lives with them is his daughter.
Trama
Nino Santoro è solo e povero. Ha lasciato la famiglia sette anni prima per un'avventuriera che lo ha illuso e poi abbandonato. Ha dovuto subire anche un arresto e un "soggiorno" in prigione. Uscito dal carcere viene aiutato da un attore che fa fatica a trovare una parte e poi da un armatore che si offre di assumere Nino e l'attore come domestici. Nino frequentando la casa scopre che il suo benefattore è sposato con la sua ex moglie e che la piccola Antonella che vive con loro è sua figlia.
