Director Mauro Bolognini again shows his mastery of the medium. The cinemtography by Ennio Guarnieri is stunning. There is a haunting score by Ennio Morricone.
Trama
Peter è un inglese in vacanza in Italia che sogna l'amore come assoluto sentimento, Ella è una signora borghese che dà peso soprattutto all'attrazione fisica. Il dialogo tra i due sarà fallimentare: Peter deluso si farà uccidere da Ella con l'automobile.
