Plot
Nunzio Pisani was hanged for a murder he didn't commit. Many years later, his son Giorgio arrives in the town of Sorrento in the disguise of Doctor Welby to investigate the case. Don Amedeo rules over this part of the country and tries to stop the Doctor. Nevertheless, Welby finds former friends of his father who believe in his innocence, and there is a witness who could identify the true murderer: Isabella. Unfortunately, the young lady became blind, but the doctor is convinced he can restore her eyesight with some skillful surgery, and then the truth might finally be revealed...
Trama
Nunzio Pisani fu impiccato per un omicidio che non aveva commesso. Molti anni dopo, suo figlio Giorgio arriva nella città di Sorrento sotto mentite spoglie del dottor Welby per indagare sul caso. Don Amedeo governa questa parte del Paese e cerca di fermare il Dottore.
