Plot
During a wedding banquet a young man is invited to choose the most beautiful of the three young women present. But a professor of letters begged him to refrain from expressing a judgment, reminding him that many centuries earlier the same invitation had been addressed to Paris which by giving preference to Venus, compared with Juno and Minerva, had given the start to the bloodiest of wars.
Trama
Durante un banchetto nuziale un giovane è invitato a scegliere la più bella fra tre giovani donne presenti. Ma un professore di lettere lo scongiura di astenersi dall'esprimere un giudizio, ricordandogli che molti secoli prima lo stesso invito era stato rivolto a Paride il quale col dare la preferenza a Venere, messa a confronto con Giunone e Minerva, aveva dato l'avvio alla più sanguinosa delle guerre.
