Plot
In a Polish town, government authorities attempt to thwart smuggling. Vladek arrives in the town and manages to join the smuggler gang. One day he is captured by the Russians and manages to escape. Meanwhile, the gang leader got married to a woman with whom Vladek is in love. During a clash, the gang leader dies. Vladek joins the woman but for a short time, since he is forced to flee.
Trama
In una cittadina polacca le autorità governative tentano di sventare il contrabbando. Nella cittadina, giunge Vladek che riesce a entrare nella banda dei contrabbandieri . Un giorno viene catturato dai russi e riesce a fuggire. Nel frattempo il capobanda si è sposato con una donna della quale Vladek è innamorato. Durante uno scontro, il capobanda muore. Vladek si unisce con la donna ma per breve tempo, poiché è costretto a fuggire.
