Plot
The film tells three stories of young people - Marisa, Anna, Enzo - whose events develop parallel but without any correlation. Marisa, a modest clerk in a haberdashery, aspires to become a singer of light music: she will soon reach success, establishing herself in a competition for new voices. Anna runs away from home to escape the affectionate tyranny of her mother, but her new life as a modern and free girl will prove to be very different from how she had dreamed it. Enzo, a boy with a head full of dreams frustrated by the squalor of the reality that surrounds him, will try to escape from the monotony of his existence by carrying out a criminal action.
Trama
Il film narra tre storie di giovani - Marisa, Anna, Enzo - le cui vicende si sviluppano parallelamente ma senza alcuna correlazione. Marisa, modesta commessa in una merceria, aspira a diventare cantante di musica leggera: raggiungerà presto il successo, affermandosi in un concorso per voci nuove. Anna fugge da casa per sottrarsi all'affettuosa tirannia della madre, ma la sua nuova vita di ragazza moderna e libera si rivelerà assai diversa da come l'aveva sognata. Enzo, un ragazzo con la testa piena di sogni frustrati dallo squallore della realtà che lo circonda, cercherà di evadere dalla monotonia della sua esistenza mettendo in atto un'azione criminosa.
